The flashing speed king of the canyon highways
The nitrous burning in the night time sky
Smoke dust appearing from drifting sideways
One race with adrenaline soaring high
Glistening bodywork tuned to be the best
Engine performance revving to surprise
Driving for ever no time to stop and rest
Flying past opponents just before their eyes
Making your mark on the cities streets
A metallic bright paint job that rivals all
Neck and neck you can hear the cars beat
But pulling ahead with no effort at all
My glorious car you’re my only need
You’re one of a kind with a need for speed

I really like the rhythm of this poem. It has a kind of driving force, which is very apt. It puts me in mind of the kind of rhythm in Robert Louis Stevenson's "From a Railway Carriage".
A difficult thing to achieve, but you pulled it off splendidly.
These lines I found particularly effective:-
"Engine performance revving to surprise
Driving for ever no time to stop and rest
Flying past opponents just before their eyes ..."
Your last line too is punchy and well thought out.
A pleasing poem;-)
