I recognised the face of the woman
In the bar last night.
And I’m sure she recognised me,
Although we’d never met.
Her husband was too busy barking wisdom
To notice our tryst.
She’d fixed her beady eye on me.
Knew one of “those” when she saw one.
And she was right.
