Of waifs and strays

Bowls of cat meat
Soured milk in saucers

Grilled bacon
Mugs of tea and coffee

The laughter and compassion
In your eyes

Oh, poor tortured love
What God would steal your laughter?

I refound my laughter, and boy what a difference life has become, sometimes we need to step back and re-evaluate, just because we have done something a certain way or for a very long time does not make it right or always make us happy/
