(A gramophone record spins innocently in the background)
"La mer..."
Bump, Bump, Bump,
Mmmm, mm, mm, mmmm, mm, mmmm, mm, mm, mm, mmmm...
Da da de daaah...
(A fairly harmless, silver haired chap in a raincoat struggles to hang on to a piece of paper in the wash of an aircraft propellor.)
"Peace in our time!"
Da da de daaah...
"Piss on you, Jack!
(A short, comical chap with a penchant for funny-shaped trousers and high boots hurls an empty bottle of Jagermeister at the flickering projector screen.)
Mit Maybach diesels, war we make.
Even mit all die coal in der Ruhr,
mein Tigers cannot roar.
Ich mochte oil!"
Ta, da, da daah, de daah,
ta da de daah...
(The screen wobbles as the bottle hits.)
"I have in my hand an undertaking from Herr Hitler..."
Da da de dah...
"Sie haben in ihrer hand ein Bratwurst!"
La da de daaah dah...
(Numbers count down on the screen in German.
The audio has overrun.)
"I'm awfully sorry. Could we do that again?
No?
Oh dear."
Tum tum tum de daaah dah..."La mer."
(Gramophone needle runs scratching into the runout groove.)
"Heinrich! Das Grammophon hat gestoppt!"
