Maintaining distance

I ponder:
when I approach your tomb,
what will I say?
From this bench,
beside a mystifying flow,
I wonder how much farther
Holy triangles of spars
hold fast their truths,
without resentment
Wire hoops
and stilled connecting parts
evince intrinsic calm
Yet they articulate potential,
Hopperesque, it occurs
The surface flows upstream
Between reflected trees
The river blames the wind,
which blames the light.
The light blames my eyes
River has no time to argue.
It needs to reach the sea
As must We
What tricks of watery light
shall inundate my mood
as I approach your stele?

This is brilliant. Has lines
This is brilliant. Has lines to swoon at. 'Holy triangles of spars hold fast their truths, without resentment'. All took my breath away though. :)

Can't say I'd swoon, but this IS brilliant!
A breath of resh air in these locked up times.
Cheers and thank you Kevin!

Just keeping myself to myself as much as I can. So far so good.
Been locked down for nearly two weeks now. At least the shops have plenty of stock now, although I keep visits to a minimum and only communicate with friends and family by phone or whatsapp
Very very early days, but things look to be flattening out here. Fingers crossed.
