You make valid points in your main crit, the flip side at the end just confused me. The poem is probably sentimentalist. Suggests an animated and intelligent inanimate. There is something quite fascinating about the fact (and please check this "fact" of mine) that the same side of the moon is always visible from earth. That means that it has to rotate at a speed to match its orbit. Incredible if true. As I said, you might want to check. Quite partial to a bit of Bukowski or Wantling brutal honesty but last night was for gushing sentimentalism. Doesn't mean God built it all from Monday to Saturday necessarily. Anyway, I can't believe they got Sundays off back then.
