Propelled
Faster and faster
Borne towards disaster
Each day becoming shorter
We’re inured to the slaughter
The best of times have passed
The spirit of the age was too naive to last
Dark forces, always busy, out of fashion, out of sight
Cheered by the mob, now manoeuvre their four horses
Preparing for the charge into everlasting night

A country, eg US to say
A country, eg US to say someone is a terrorist, and that makes it lawful for that country to kill them is scary. Causing collapse of World Trade Organisation (set up to prevent war) because not wanting other countries' rights to overrule their interests also scary.
Is not that there are not bad guys. Is just the good guys are just as bad and that sort of makes them worse
your rhythm is like a gallopping horse getting closer, but you have no rhyme for propelled?
