Not worth dying for

Revolution and wars of liberation come from the same broken home. Each suffers the same bitter diappointment in its progeny.
The world is a mess. It could never be anything else. Utopia is based on a simplified understanding of a complex reality - that is, utopia is not based on reality. I guess you'd call that a failing.
That doesn't mean we can't try to make life a little easier. Maybe prevent a few broken homes along the way.
I started this train of thought thinking about wealth, boom and bust, recession, financial deregulation and the idea that financial deregulation is like removing all the road-markings from all the roads.
There are no perfect answers, no final solutions, only things that might help. Few, if any, are worth dying or killing for.
