So you think you're smart
counting-off the days

Thursday

Another Thursday
Four hours teaching
Three more Metro rides
And it's Friday

Only one class on Fridays
And then the weekend
Again

But what happens
when you finish counting?

Ah, same pronunciation as the French -'abeille' only with an 'a' at the end. Are you learning Spanish, PT? Or do you speak it already?

Learning it very slowly, by osmosis. Italian for bee is probably similar. Wasp is vespa I think and a similar-sounding word in Spanish. The lovely thing about languages is that they are all much closer to each other than you think (well, to a point). So why so many difficulties between people? Maybe I'm just a deluded old hippy.
