The only thing

We're almost packed
The Whitsun Weddings have me straddling scenes
Icelandic vodka plays its aurora across my night
Up there’s a star for every person born
Like us, they come and go
I drift into another week at work
Easyjet skidding on St Iago's way
Peregrines
Ha!
Time for contemplation
As meaninglessness comes rushing through the station
No one cares if it's on time
It doesn’t matter
Seems that nothing really does
Except for you
I wonder how much of this is my fault
Then realise nothing can be changed
All that's left is hope
And I've seen enough to know
Your star will always shine
As long as there's a road out
