This psychologist professor guy explained that the people on the other side of the world were upside down because they hanged from their feet. The holy truth. A professor. I swear he did and he was quite serious and he was completely sober.

You wrote a nice little poem here, I especially like, "move around the surface of this thing". I think you mean the Earth.

Hi Tom Brown. Which way is up?

Imagine if aboriginal people in the southern hemisphere had mapped the world and led the way with navigation and technology. We might be the ones hanging from our feet.
