Oh my lovely friend.
Time and distance play their game
to make us night and day.
You faded out of sight.
Became invisible but flickered
like a distant flame.
The beauty of your eyes.
If I could take a brush
and paint the perfect smile.
Oh your tortured heart.
If I could heal your wounds
and take away your pain.
When day embraces night.
The glory of a thousand suns
I’ll gladly give to you.
Until then, I give this poem.

This is very beautiful. I loved the title simply being 'A Poem'. Who is Buendia?

Thank you.
Thank you. I know it's a name, too, so I thought your poem may have been for B. How stupid of me!
