Porridge, peas and parmesan

Drifting somewhere close to sleep
on cotton-wool clouds
of detachment
Knowing that soon I fly
to Africa
to be with you
I feel the iPod melt
In days I’ll be
away from here
and in your arms
My body turns to mist
as tiredness takes me off
and leaves me lost in Dylan
Where
remembering the shopping list
I try again to focus
just for now
on porridge, peas and parmesan

A nice meshing of every-day
A nice meshing of every-day life with a utopic dreamscape. Your mind flutters between reality and surrealism.
