Oh, look! It’s daylight there
In clear blue, between the sheets of cloud
And Wordsworth had his way
With Coleridge’ Mariner
To minimise its sound
And life is thus: whoever lives
Describes the world for those who follow on
For human life resoundeth
To the cadence
Of the minstrel’s song

Poetry doth speak to our thoughts – sometimes very well- Nicely done Parson – Wordsworth did applaud the passion of Coleridge’s poem but, I think, was off put by the length of descriptive imagery within the stanzas – Still he said the passion was worth noting. I can hear the passion in your words too: “For the human life resoundeth to the cadence of the minstrel’s song” Indeed it does Parson…indeed it does!
