I got done by the Chinese shop
Well and truly stitched
Not their fault
I should have said something
Or just walked away and left the bag
But I didn't
I rationalised it all
And then I rationalised it all again
I needed a drink
I'll boycott them next time
They'll never see my hide in there again
So I recriminated
Ruminated
Gave myself dyspepsia
And picked up the guitar
Picked at it unplugged
It reminds me of the Strat I had in Leeds
A Mexican
Sold to pay my bills
This one comes from China
A tele
It has a lovely neck
Gorgeous unplugged sound
It'll be nice to hear it through an amp
When I can afford it
I'm sure you won't approve
You'll hate it
But my life revolves round this
It's at my core
I read an article today
By an anaesthetist
Life / awareness may be the most fragile
The most beautiful and short-lived thing
