Drifting without end

In emptiness

Seeking satisfaction

Knowing that there is none

Filling in our time

Without any reason

Trying just to be

Failing

Two souls

Adrift in a field of stars

Wondering why

Free spirits rarely catching up with each other for long enough to make sense of it all. Lovely airy poem, raising more questions than answers.
