It’s nearly ten months
I compile the photos in my mind
and wonder how we’ll be
I’ve never seen you so happy
You and the horse swimming the lake
I know what that means to you
And the weeks are rushing by
When I look at those pictures
I feel that you’ve found your place
I seem to be marking time
Looking for mine
Waiting
It feels like the night before Waterloo
Gettysburg or Normandy
Whatever the dawn brings
nothing can ever be the same
And all I can do is wait

Such a poignant poem, PT...and again you create that emotive picture in the reader's mind, of the girl and her horse.

I think Tina picked the right
I think Tina picked the right word - poignant. Loved this.
