sounds...intresting dont get me wrong, its a great poem with a good rhythim to it, but (sorry if im sounding really thick here)....whats it about?

No problem, you don't sound thick at all. Last week I went with a friend to a passover ceder, I am not jewish so this was my first. The theme was social justice and freedom so most of this was inspired by that. Not necessarily by a specific topic per se, but by some of the things that were said during the ceder. I don't normally write songs in one sitting so some of it was just what I was feeling when I came back to it. Sorry for this answer being so long and thanks so much for reading!
