I have nothing to say today

Nothing to impart

For nothing is on my mind

And I care not to force the thought

 

It is a quiet contemplation

Walking shadows through the light

Marking time but clocking nothing

Seeing life as life goes on

 

Moving through the garden

Shifting light grows shadows long

Till the day gives up to darkness

Peaceful silence be my song

I loved this piece Penny, because it has a serene and satisfying atmosphere about it.

There's a contentment that leaves the reader feeling that just to be alive is all that's important.

Agree with Jenny, accepting is a good thing, no agenda, building towers of words and thoughts, just peace. A good idea to focus on
