Fresh Beginning

Every morning, 

As i sip my coffee,

and gaze out the window,

I can't help but admire,

the  welcoming sun,

dewdrops on grass,

 peeping tender leaflets,

 blooming bright flowers,

 whispering breeze,

 dancing dandelions,

 chirping sparrows,

 smiling  neighbours.

 

There is goodness all around,

Beauty to admire,

Senses to feel

Freshness and desire,

to start a new day,

a new leaf to my diary.

 

Life is a journey

destination  unknown.

But for all i know,

my only wish

is to treasure the moment

and relish the "present".

Im not in the race 

to speed up towards the end.

i prefer a slower pace,

and greet every morning,

which has never failed till date,

to paint this smile on my face.

Really enjoyable, Petal. I know my ultimate destination, but there are many unknowns on the way!
It is so easy to look for something to worry about or grumble about rather than noticing the beauties, kindnesses and blessings all around.

Totally agree with what you said. Worrying has become an inseparable part of life.                                         We fail to recognise the fact that, out of those million celestial bodies, we are the ones who are blessed to reside on this beautiul planet!
