Value Versus Valueables

Value indicates how much money a thing is worth,
What is the price when parted or sold it will bring forth.
Valuables are those items which fetch a lot of money,
People like to amass valuables like bees store honey.
Value sometimes conveys the importance of something or somebody,
Valuables when possessed tell about the status someone has already.
But value talked of in this poem refers to the high standard of conduct,
Value system stands for a person’s adherence to ethical behavior and its product.
Value system has to be cultivated from infancy by a good upbringing.
whereas valuables can be collected in adulthood and after, till death knell’s ringing.
Valuables may be possessed being driven by desire and greed,
But value is inculcated in the ambience of truth, honesty and moderate need.
Valuables may be somebody’s external embellishment,
Value system cultivated is someone’s internal ornament.
Value system stands on somebody’s virtues not vice,
Possession of valuables may get you indulged in criminal acts many times.
Value system not only belongs to an individual person,
It may be cultivated by a modern business organization.
Valuables multiply your thirst for illegal wealth manifold,
Value system enables to be courageous and bold.
No thief or dacoit can rob you of your value system,
Valuables are stolen often against good culture and custom.
The aim of learning and education should be inculcating a sound value system,
Which will result in love, friendship, brotherhood in substance and sum
