Committed to memory
black and white shot
through with orange fire
blood red
stay forever
burnt into retinas
dna-cid melting
white-hot-wired
to the heart
radio-active transmissions
transgressions
So easy to die
The bright light in your eyes
choked out of your beautiful frail frame
lost control
again
the dead slip through fingers
like beads on a rosary
watch the faces
as they pass
wait
for your own
to come around
and
that was the last spin
of the turntable
my love
