Al Capone

He struts around,
Like he owns the town
He gives a smirk,
Like he owns the Earth
He expresses glee,
Like he can be,
Whatever he wants to be
He orders Scotch on ice,
Fancy drink, fancy car but he isn’t nice
His sidekick orders a Whiskey neat,
Butchers enemies like brisket meat
Everything at the Drunken Goose,
He makes an epic scene
The man in his sight offers a truce,
He denies and kills, what a fiend
Bootlegging, brothels and politicians,
All in his deep pockets
Every night this gangster is wishing,
My empire, hope someone doesn’t knock it
He hustles every dime,
From nine till five
Committed every crime,
Bribes off every fine
Got the men in blue,
To watch his back
That’s nothing new,
What a maniac
Now in the courtroom he denies,
Full of lies,
See anguish deep in his eyes,
As he tries to remain lax,
Knowing he avoided payin’ tax
