A Song For Haiti

Angels fall and thrive,
insects crawl and die.
Human or not.
This disaster is hard to survive.
Light a candle and give all you can.
This is the work of Earth not the fall of man.
Hold your hands out, to Port-Au-Princes.
To my Haitian Gods and all of their princesses.
I offer my prays and money to you.
Like the three kings, folowing the star.
We all trying hard, but somehow Haiti seems far.
Heavenly God help us see through the pain and hurt.
Help us clean the rubble and dirt.
Help us prevent these kind souls departure.
These are innocent people, not no hunger marcher.
Pardon, excuse me, God I say it now that I'm speakin' from the heart.
You can end this because your power made it all start.
An it not all about those that survive, it about that those gone.
And for those who left, accept them into your garden.
Port-Au-Princes.
(I'm hear for you)
Port-Au-Princes.
(We reachin' out)
Port-Au-Princes.
(Fellow men and women)
Port-Au-Princes.
(Show them what we're about)
Port-Au-Princes.
(Reach out your hand)
Port-Au-Princes.
(Do what you can)
