Friends and friendship

throughout a life one does cherish.

This relationship is a unique creation of one’s own

built over the exchange of many a message of invitation

sent through physical gestures with emotional thrust

confirming and establishing the mutual love and trust

Friends are special better than siblings and parents

also greater than all relations even one’s wife, as apparent

In one’s best friend one finds one’s own presence

sharing with him many a private story and secrets in confidence

Childhood friend is closest to one’s heart

one feels the pinch of life when moved apart.

Friendship knows no bar of caste, creed and color

but only age implying equal emotional wave length as a probable barrier.

True friendship is nectar divine

preserve it, nurture it with sacrifice and love benign.
