Alleluia Anyway

If heaven was standing wide open ,
Remember that late loved vision.
Creator evokes galloping beauty - ancient and new
Golden image was a white horse with a furious rider -
Silver cord
Broken and dubbed
Faithful and True.
The picture shattered.
Naked truth brings justice of cold judges
and makes war.
Warrior eyes like blazing fire,
You were within, when I was outside
My head set apart
To bear the flesh wounds of
Many crowns. A
Puritan's robe dipped in blood.
My name is written in the stars
and I was outside, when the
Word of God fell to nothing but dust.
Armies of heaven swelled and surged and rolled
Across the urban sunset
I rushed, hushed, misshapen, into dusk
A husk no longer, shivering but
dressed in fine garments,
shrouding a spirit - white and clean.
you blazed, you shone you chased away my blindness.
tread the winepress of fury
hide my eyes and bow in love.
I taste. I hunger. I thirst
Touch me
My enemy, and
Feel the wrath of God Almighty
