Fruit of the Valentine
My love for you is like a lemon
Glowing vibrant and yellow
With your eyes blind folded,
Only the citrus scent becomes visible to your senses,
Making your nerves tingle with anticipated excitement
Slowly I peel the skin
Uncovering the flesh which lies beneath
Glimpsing, something so soft and delicately structured
Bleeding acidic juice
Its clothing completely removed,
The full extent of its ample shape is revealed.
But you want to see inside
The beating heart at the core
There is more, still more to it
And this you know.
As only to taste will convince you of how strong I feel.
Your lips embrace with haste
Its fomented wine.
Deliciously bitter,
Its taste.
Divine
My love for you is like a lemon
Stripped naked and bare.
There is no more to experience
Than the memory we share
