Love's the buoyancy of the boat

You feel that you have travelled far,
Seen visions, a six pointed star.
You’ve talked to Prophets and to Kings,
Accepted you’re none of these things.

But what you touch is oceans deep.
The power within you, will not cease.
For within your heart so small.
Is the answer to it all.

All graven shame, the deepest pain
Can be transformed to light again.
For so deep is the power of love.
It bears the touch of Him above.

It’s though your hands, or in your words. 
That this love becomes much more assured. 
So it can reach the depth of man. 
To bring upliftment where it can. 

Love’s the buoyancy of the boat. 
It is what keeps spirits afloat. 
It is the glow within the flame.
It enables man up to trust again.
