The purpose of mankind?

In your cupped hands you are looking,
at a sphere of pure clear light.
It is moving in a shimmer,
and the light within is bright.

When you look within its mystery,
a vision it unfolds.
You can see the ancient history
of a story that’s untold.

It speaks of ancient promise,
a vow created from credo.
To return to Earth and finish,
what was started long ago.

In the sphere you see the impact,
of that vow as it was made.
A thousand golden cobwebs
spiral out in a cascade.

In the spiral are more spheres,
of colour and of lights.
The pattern that's created,
is the most beautiful of sights.

For the colour is tremendous,
as every shade and hue,
thats pulsating in position,
sends out connections that are new.

As you look within this cobweb
of energy and light.
You can see the cosmos turning
within this wonderous sight.

It seems the stars and planets
are contained within the fold.
Of the spiral of connections,
and the vow that this foretold.

The implications of this vision,
shuffle round within your mind.
Have you really seen the blueprint
of the purpose of mankind?

Not just the purpose of one person,
but of all the human race.
Which is to keep the spinning cosmos,
in its rightful spot in space.
