from a visit just today
I’m not sure these contradictions
are that easy to give away.

For my mind is in confusion
and my heart is working fast.
I am not sure this bridge between us
is that easy to pass."

Breathe deeply to your centre
your composure will return.
Each new step does bring you closer
but it takes some time to learn.

That the rope bridge may be shaky,
when first you walk across.
But the anchor posts are steady,
more planks are added as you cross.

What you are actually doing
is placing your faith in Gods hands.
Many speak it, few complete it,
trust me He understands.

That the journey cross the chasm
is one that few would wish to take.
You have come this far already,
there has been not one mistake.

So gird your loins tomorrow,
for the journey’s worth the strain.
