"It’s tomorrow and I’m standing,
on the shore of wind blown seas.
Words are moving rather better,
and I’m feeling more at ease.
It is hard though every morning
to stand myself within the rain.
With a bucket, and a ladle,
hoping words might flow again."
Words may fall like rain drops,
refreshing droplets on warm heads.
Or they might speed like bullets,
leave you reeling from what’s said.
So, the source of inspiration
is the element of choice.
You just need to be most careful,
of to whom you give a voice.
For the psyche it is fragile,
bridging spheres and bringing light.
But you have to hold the purpose,
to avoid some long dark nights.
You may opt for fears and demons,
or uplifting, sound advice.
You can take it, or ignore it,
both choices bear a price.
As you walk the path of spirit,
you get the sense you’re not alone.
It gets easier on the journey
for your actions to atone.
For you realise life’s lessons,
will be laid across your way
You absorb them, realise them
and take them all within your sway.
The staff of spirit is a comfort,
its a sword to banish fear.
It’s your torch to light direction.
when you hold it very near.
