Transition 9

"Today some deep dark forces,
are upon our minds.
We know the force of Karma
but this seems a different kind.

In my mind there is a chasm.
that is deep and dark and long.
These two people cannot cross it,
how they treat each other’s wrong."

Karma is the bedrock,
upon which you lead your life.
It’s the bringer of good fortune,
and a fair amount of strife.

It comes in equal measure to
your purpose on this Earth.
Some people they live quiet lives,
some bear a weight at birth.

The two people that you mention,
both have purpose galore.
Their aware of their own shadow,
but each others they abhor.

Because they’re bound in purpose,
each other’s shadow feels a threat.
So they guard themselves against it,
seek no acceptance for it yet.

Yet in acceptance comes the turning,
of the shadow to the sun.
But in this case it must be mutual
for acceptance true to come.

The lock of ancient battles
must be turned upon its head,
Individual ownership is needed,
for peace to reign instead.

When changes come, a mirror
shines bright light into your face.
It’s during transition these
lines of battle must be faced.

You find you need to use resources
that have just come close to hand.
In that way you test their value,
their potential understand.
