Waste of space

We sit cross legged upon the floor,
the background colour red.
There is a peace within this room.
A light removes all dread.
There is a silence in this space,
that encompasses all sound.
You get a sense you’re sitting,
in a bubble that is round.
You can see there is no limit,
to this time, or to this place.
You realise your bubble
is anchored in the human race.
But it is also floating
on this carpet in the sky.
You feel the Earth beneath you.
You just let it roll on by.
Your bubble is protective,
but permeable as well.
Look – beyond its membrane,
is another sphere of cells.
So this circle, in a circle,
and this sphere within a sphere.
Is the encapsulation
of all that you hold dear.
The whole structure it is simple,
at its core a single cell.
Manifests the light of ages,
and the peaceful truth as well.
It’s by working through the layers
that you’ll find the truth within.
It’s not until you test them
that you find those walls are thin.
You have your place within the schema,
and your function to fulfill.
What you also have to test you,
is the gift of your free will.
You can use your gifts and knowledge
to make this world a better place.
Or, you can insulate your bubble
and become a waste of space.
