A fistful of faeries came up the plughole
Gnarled and battered from long nights at sea.
They ate my chalk and buried my words
And left me a shadow to hang on my tongue.
While I sat there testing the light
The shadow began to curse and moan.
A fierce snarl attacked my lips
And splinters grew from under my eyes.
Blinded and wary, I planted a seed
To build a forest around my feet.
I waited for seventeen months and a day
Until my beard was greyed and long.
(I'm not happy with this at all - I think it needs some kind of progression, some development. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know :) Thanks alot!)

I think it's
I think it's brilliant.

Until Birnam wood comes to Dunsinane.
