Life - Have You Ever Stopped To Wonder?

We come into this world
In what seems an unfair way,
As none of us are equal
From the first breath we inhale.
Some are born to riches,
Some to poverty,
Some are blessed with beauty,
And some quite ug'ly.
It's such a strange confusing life,
But maybe for a reason...
To think of life eternally
Can be a scary, quandary.
If life is everlasting,
As most faiths say it is,
Who can say for certain how often we may live?
Quite a profound thought for Christianity,
I don't recall the Bible teaching this to me.
For Christians it's the Soul that sees Eterrnity.
Although, Hindus do believe,
We've all been here before,
It's how we get to be the people we are now.
This is an ancient doctrine, a basis for all life,
It could explain the hardships, the troubles and the strife.
We do know it is true, throughout our history,
Most people in the world have had a Deity.
It seems there is no proof, no solid guaranteem,
No one has the answer, of our we came to be...
One thing is for certain, for definate and for sure,
We only the get the one chance as the people we are now.
So what harm would it do, to show some due respcet,
To the beauty of the world and all that live on it.
There's enough room on our planet, for all of our beliefs,
Everybody has one - even Atheists.
So it is a great shame,
So much blood's been spilt,
It's the greedy, fat usurpers
Who will some day feel the guilt.
