A Letter from My Heart

Dear Ma,
In the past years, I have not been able to give back…
…through the use of material things.
I have not been able to return every favor
that you have done for us…
…by giving you more income and financial stability.
But this I know is true…
I may not be perfect… nor near perfect…
But I believe that I have been good enough to be a little help to our day to day life.
I also know that I will never be able to repay everything that you have done for us in the past years.
But I believe that I will make it up to you by being the best I can be.
Through this letter, I write down and promise…
I will be a good man because you have taught me how to be one.
I will always be a Godly and wise being because you have instilled in me morals that are more valuable than diamonds.
I will not let go of my education because it is my destiny to keep us all alive from this very day to the final moment when we all breathe our last breath of life.
I will never forget every moment I have with you, because in these memories, I keep the happiest days of my life.
I will try my best to provide for you when you are old because you have loved me even before I was born… and I love you, too.
May God give you a long, successful, blessed, and joyful future because you have worked hard as a nurse, as a wife, as a mother, and as a friend.
And finally,
May God grant this request so that you may still see your descendants grow in wisdom and character.
Love,
Your Son
