A ‘little bit’ of what you fancy … (IP)

A little runny honey
is lovely to lick,
but a lot just makes my tummy
sick;
and chocolate too is yummy,
but it makes me feel so funny
if I stuff enough,
picking from the packet
until somehow I get
sick
of it –
it’s puzzling
that guzzling
sweets lose their taste –
what a waste!
it’s boring to play,
with no work at all, all day,
so it does seem a rule
that sweets with no dinner,
will never be a winner –
see how cool you can be –
How long can your easter eggs last?

Craving something sweet now,
Craving something sweet now, Bear's poem gave me some sugar too. No chocolate in the house, only liquorice. :( Have to read your poem again. :)

Oh, this is fantastic,
Oh, this is fantastic, Rhiannon My husband bought me five eggs this Easter. Generous you might say. But on the other hand when you consider I only eat the chocolates inside them, and never the egg itself, I'll give you three guesses as to who does
Lovely poem, and a belated Happy Easter to you and yours.
