Ideas willowy and vague
about the supernatural
won’t help in war, or bomb, or plague,
but One who’s real, historical
whose words and undisputed acts
are life and hope’s foundation facts,
and many find His aid in need:
He thwarted many an evil deed.

Why won’t he pull the strings
to fully stop these awful things?
Are we all ready for his wholly
good and loving world, where folly
sin and selfishness will be unknown?

Hi, Nolan, yes, His Word calls us all now as then, our needs can be met, while still in this world where wars and temptations and hatred still exist, and turn to him to be ready for his better world to come! Rhiannon
