Sunshine smiles of happiness,
family fun and friendliness,
’til cloudy frown of fear or crossness –
shower streams down ’til dried by smile
or calm in the arms that soothe, reassure,
feed, protect from the storms awhile.

lovely idea mixing weather with little children :0) Did you say your grandchildren were coming to stay with you?

Thank you, yes, they have taken up residence (with their parents!) in part of our house where the in-laws used to live, while their Dad does a Teacher Training year! Maybe many poems will come from this! We have often talked of 'sunshine and showers' regarding young children's oscillating emotions. Rhiannon

will be lovely for them in such a big, happy household, and you have the joy of small children around while also some peace and privacy when they are with their mum and dad?

Thank you, yes they have their own part with a door between, but we seem to hit it off well to be able to be sensitive to when to keep apart and when to mingle! So yes, we are not in charge, but I hope I will be well enough to do a reasonable amount of help as well as enjoy them! Rhiannon

hope so much you are soon better! it sometimes takes ages to throw things off, doesnt it. this is why no walking poems? you are very brave i bet you never complain, have you been to see a dr?

Thank you so much, Di. It is a sort-of prolapse problem that was under control. Now, it is proving difficult at present, so yes, no walking poems!! The consultants are still catching up with the very urgent appointments, but I'm booked to have a chat with one of our doctors soon. It would be good if it could get under better control! Rhiannon
