She thought it out,
but there it stayed:
the action planned
was never made.
*******************

He took the order,
attention paid:
but that command
was not obeyed.
*******************

The acts of others
they judged and weighed,
but they themselves
no love displayed.
*******************

“None poor, all equal,
and unafraid”,
the party said,
but hopes soon fade.
******************

To see a need
is not enough,
but careful thought
steers toil that’s tough.

That is the true skill, to solve problems, not only point them out

Yes, and be willing to, I guess. Sometimes a little help is not noticeable, may not seem very big, and may be uncomfortable to do, but in the doing of it a real encouragement is given.

What was on my mind was that actions unthought-out and rash aren't wise, but thinking, talking with unwillingness to act at all is empty. Thanks, Rhiannon

Nice, well written.  Getting the rhythm and rhyme to come together naturally, and with a point to make, without sounding at all forced is not an easy task.

Thanks. I appreciate your words. I'm aware sometimes that though a smooth, brief compostion can make the point more clearly, one can instead leave the point obscure, or ambiguous! Rhiannon
