She thought it out,
but there it stayed:
the action planned
was never made.

He took the order,
attention paid:
but that command
was not obeyed.
*******************
The acts of others
they judged and weighed,
but they themselves
no love displayed.
*******************
“None poor, all equal,
and unafraid”,
the party said,
but hopes soon fade.
******************
To see a need
is not enough,
but careful thought
steers toil that’s tough.
