Am I …, have I … ?

Lion-like pride
or a rhino-thick hide,
vain as a peacock
or sneaky as a fox,
sly as a snake
or a flattering cat,
prickly as a porcupine,
stubborn as a mule
or a blundering fool
rushing like a pheasant dashing
into a car’s path crashing.
A mighty task bad traits to conquer
and not be hasty in our anger.

collective nouns for animals
Rhiannon I find it facinating too, yours are excellent! I came across a list of collected nouns for animals I've chosen a few I like, that are very discriptive,
army of caterpillars ; navy or flight of doves ; parade of elephants ; cloud of flies ; wedge of geese ; troop of monkeys ; herd of pigs ; host of sparrows ; flight of swallows ; bunch of waterfowl ; team of wild ducks
Don't you think it's beautiful!?
