The grand old duke of York
just had to march his men
they must not pause or talk,
they marched to port, and then
‘blow the wind southerly’,
he wished to sail north,
if it alter or gust*
they may venture forth
erratically, slowly
– he cannot command
the wind how to march them quickly to land.
* = August

Clever use of march and may.

Clever use of march and may. or gust requires a bit of lateral thinking.
Overall a fun piece.
