We know about so many folk,
acquainted with so few;
many who read about you, Lord,
and your creation view
don’t personally know you, for
that fellowship is something more.

For truly knowing you, true God
and Jesus, Saviour, Guide,
is life eternal, vital life,
your Spirit at our side,
not left alone our life to face,
our Friend supports in every place.

“This is life eternal: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” John 17:3
