White
Snow newly fallen,
and milk in the cup,
a fresh piece of paper
before we’ve filled it up
with colours or ink,
a white wedding dress,
and icing on the Christmas cake,
snowdrops, and a new born lamb,
a pinch of salt to shake
on cooking or on slippery ice,
and a big white pile of steaming rice.

This is such a fun poem
This is such a fun poem Rhiannon, it must have been a pleasure to write.
Gave me a smile.
Jenny.

I do like your adjectives in
I do like your adjectives in these, they make everything you list fun and real. I loved it when it was a fresh piece of paper, all smooth and cool with infinite possibilities of what it could become, and I got to choose, like being an emperor. And I love seeing that in children's faces now, like they have reached a mountain top and see a valley spread out below - where shall I go? You put all that in a few words!
