Completing the Circle (Poetry Monthly)

This was in the pipeline anyway, so thought it could be a 'Poetry Monthly'.
Newborn:
constant provision,
attention; growth: necessary
sharing, waiting, demands of wearying
chores, competition with siblings, and managers,
peers, employment with hobbies and fun interferes,
irritations; retirement: relaxation, leisure arrives, with
freedom of time, but muscles weaken, confusion’s
frustration grows as brain pathways gradually
close, then nursed in smiling repose: no
cares, needs, or labour, no trouble,
or hunger, no quarrels to mend,
months of content, with
rest, 'til this life’s
end:
opportunity’s window shut.

Hi Rhiannon
Hi Rhiannon
So clever the way you make a shape with your words to illustrate the beginning and end of life.
