(1) A blaze in black,
light cracks the dark:
illumined globe.
(2) Heart fog, dense,
gloomy, grey…
can truth pierce,
turn muddle into sense?
… If superhuman knowledge does exist
and if it’s useful …?
craving insight, wistful.
(3) Malice lonely,
hatred dark,
destructive, putrid,
stark –
can purity break in,
grains of kindness bring,
change of attitude beget
though heart like iron set?
(1) Supernatural power
that sparked, spoke
light source creation –
light emitting,
light reflecting matter,
(2) brings soul illumination,
enlightening shower,
(3) and makes a person better.
"For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6
