I have a feeling we're on different sides of the fence on this one, Rhiannon, but I think it's a succinct and obviously heartfelt response to the IP and I'm always in favour of asking the question.  Otherwise we don't think about the decisions we reach.

Thank you for responding, Airy. Yes, heartfelt. Difficult to throw it out into the arena of thought these days. I don't underestimate the anguish of dire situations of many women, or not feel empathy, and also aware of those who have felt pressured and have had physical as well as emotional troubles ensuing after their choices. I think that needs more careful thought, but also, thought to the other life involved. So easy to think it shouldn't have existed if we/they hadn't …, so what difference to stop it? But that is a step I think we shouldn't take on ourselves. And many women and children have been glad at change of mind, despite some of the struggles they had to endure.

Again, I do appreciate your response, and thought, and know it is a very emotional subject. Rhiannon
