(seen yesterday, when parking behind a Care Home)

Neglected, thrown down out the back:
grubby, dumped, forgotten sack,
bathed in sunshine, soaked by showers,
spears poke through, and trumpet flowers
blaze, as out of drab, gold surges,
from discarded trash, emerges.

Yes, it was a delight, Insert! and catching the sunlight. I hadn't got a camera on me, but my husband took his mother back, and caught it on his tablet camera.

The home has a lovely display of planted daffodils, for visitors and the residences to enjoy, Jenny. It was nice that these forgotten bulbs had been able to decorate their own little dull corner! Rhiannon
