She objects to the object of the exercise.
The object of the exercise is to move the object
objected to from the objectionable place
to another space
where such an object would fit
without objection (hers the exception)
and be an object of objective taste
to admirers of objet d’art,
maybe,
but though attempting objectivity
the sight/site of the objected-to object,
continues to rouse her irritated objections.

Sorry about that. Does seem to happen often to teachers, I can remember frustrations when my teacher-husband paused, he would succumb often with something. Rhiannon

Even the word sounds grumpy, your poem sounds like a huff :0) Reminds me of myself as a very objectionable child!

I'd not thought of that, but I suppose the word does sound grumpy, and all children have their grumpy times.My daughter looks at a photo and says she can remember the grumpy incident about then! and even my mother said about a very nice photo of her and her two sisters, that she can remember arguing about who sat where, or whether her new shoes showed properly or some such! Reading 'Little house on the prairie' first page, I think, she was grumbling on how long they were travelling I think, and Ma said , 'Laura', and she stopped but said something like that she still thought grumpy thoughts inside. We all have such memories! Rhiannon
