[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]

Resurrection – certain: crucial,
pivot-point of history.
Christ had done all that was needful:
glorious vital mystery!

He will come again – as certain –
and His message now proclaims –
gate to the eternal kingdom,
hope so sure his church sustains.

For ’til then our journey certain
He supports, we’re bound to Him
– by His Spirit to the haven
He will all his people bring.

They said He will come on the clouds the same, as he had left (ascended) and the whole world, and every soul shall see Him. Yes, this is absolutely crucial to Christian Teaching.
